Welcome to Leesburg Auto Body Inc., the "LAB".

My name is Dan Stiteler and my wife is Trudy.  We have been married for 37 years

We live in The Villages with our t-cup Chihuahua is Gidget.

We are a restoration, hot rod and custom body and paint shop in Leesburg, Florida.

We opened here in 2004 and previously had a shop for many years in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

We own this shop and everything in it.  We don't rent or lease anything.

So we will be here for you in the future.

I started fixing my friends cars in my parent's driveway before I was old enough to drive.

I learned this trade the hard way, fixing cars, doing body work and then painting them till I got good at it.

I am fortunate to currently work with and have worked with some very talented individuals over the years.  I learned all I could from everyone of them.  The cars we restore now were cars we, 35 years ago, drove to work and raced on the weekends.  Times sure have changed.

Our shop does everything but sew seats and fortunately I have great folks that do that for me. 

We strip, sand blast, seal and prime, repair and fabricate steel, do straight body work and

show winning paint jobs.

We also completely wire cars, install Vintage Air and just about anything else

you may need for your vintage car or truck.

We take pride in our work.  I love what I do.  My guys and I are very meticulous and give great

attention to every detail as you can see by the pictures in the "Cars Built" area.

We do concours restorations to full blown customs.  What you want, we build.
